We chatted with Vinay Gupta, an advisor with the Business Development Team at Mitacs; Bronze Sponsors of this years’ SmartMTX. Q: What’s your main reason for exhibiting at SmartMTX?
A: We want to promote awareness about Mitacs funding programs that are geared towards solving industry R&D challenges via collaborations with post-secondary institutions.
Q: Who do you want to connect with at the show and why?
A: We are hoping to connect with leading industry innovators in the manufacturing sector in Western Canada during the SmartMTX event. In doing so, we hope to learn about their cutting-edge technologies aimed at transforming the manufacturing ecosystem in Canada and spread awareness about Mitacs funding programs.
Q: What solution(s) are you exhibiting and who are they designed for?
A: Mitacs offers more than 100 Advisors with 45+ offices across the country, dedicated to building and supporting new partnerships. I am just one of those connectors in our innovation ecosystem. We have a proven ability and passion to build partnerships with a wide range of academic, industry, and non-profit stakeholders.
