What is the SmartMTX?

SmartMTX is Western Canada’s newest platform to explore ideas and opportunities that fuel manufacturing growth and innovation. Specifically tailored to Western Canadian small and mid-sized manufacturing companies, this exciting exhibition will feature over 40,000 square feet of exhibitions, industry talks, discussion panels, and much more.

Are there any planned special events or opportunities to network?

Yes, there is an Industry Networking Gala on Tuesday, April 4, from 6 PM – 8 PM. You can purchase tickets here.  

We are also planning several other exciting special events, including mainstage presentations, panel discussions, technical talks, B2B speed dating and more.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes, we encourage you to register in advance, even if you are utilizing the free admission.  Networking events, panel discussions and technical talks may sell out, so please register in advance.

I have pre-registered. When will I receive my badge?

Physical badges can be picked up upon arrival at the Parkland Pavilion in Westerner Park in the registration and check-in areas.

Will there be food?

There is a concession with tables and chairs in the main tradeshow pavilion that will be open daily during show hours.

SmartMTX is being hosted by the Manufacturing & Export Enhancement (MEE) Cluster, along with their event partners, the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce and Red Deer Polytechnic Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing (CIM-TAC).
