What is the SmartMTX?

SmartMTX is Western Canada’s premier platform to explore ideas and opportunities that fuel manufacturing growth and innovation. Specifically tailored to Western Canadian small and mid-sized manufacturing companies, this exciting exhibition will feature over 40,000 square feet of exhibitions, tech talks, discussion panels, and much more.

The 2024 SmartMTX will feature a variety of activities focused on three themes tied together with Smart Manufacturing technologies.  The three themes were identified by Western Canadian manufacturers as their top priorities for 2024 and beyond.

How much does it cost?

It is free to attend the SmartMTX for manufacturers. Non-manufacturers pay a small registraion fee

Are there any planned special events or opportunities to network?

Yes, there is an Evening Networking Reception on Wednesday, May 15, from 5 PM – 7 PM. It is included in your event registration and will feature music, great food, and a free drink.

We are also planning several other exciting special events, including mainstage presentations, panel discussions, technical talks, and more.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes, we encourage you to pre-register in advance, even if you are utilizing the free admission.

Does the SmartMTX share attendee personal or contact details with 3rd parties?

The SmartMTX Organising Committee or anyone officially associated with the SmartMTX does not share any personal or contact information of exhibitors, attendees, or any persons otherwise participating in the SmartMTX.  Anyone claiming to have attendee lists or contact information is a scammer and is not associated with the SmartMTX is any way.

I have pre-registered. When will I receive my badge?

Physical badges can be picked up upon arrival at the Parkland Pavilion in Westerner Park in the registration and check-in areas.

Will there be food?

Food will be available for purcahse at the concession stand.  There is also the opportunity to enjoy a Premium Lunch Buffet.  The Premium Lunch Buffet is available to MEE Cluster members at no extra charge and available for pre-purchase by all other attendees.
