Shayne van der Meer is the Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) Coordinator at Calgary Economic Development. He helps connect companies with aspirations of going global to resources and experts in the field of international trade. Having graduated from Mount Royal University with a degree in international business, he is passionate about helping SME’s on their international expansion journey. Shayne assists in the recruiting process, coordinates with participants and speakers, and ensures the program runs smoothly.

The Trade Accelerator Program is a program designed to help companies develop and execute an export plan. In this presentation we will explore the benefits of TAP and how it can help businesses grow and expand into international markets. Additionally, we will talk about our upcoming cohort in partnership with MEE in Red Deer.
