Ian Comishin, Twente Additive Manufacturing

Twente Additive Manufacturing (TAM) joined the 3D Concrete Printing industry from a deep automation background with the owners and managers all experienced in machinery design and fabrication.

Prior to starting TAM, Ian was a head of a successful company in the Wind Energy Industry, and they were building the automation for making wind turbine blades. Their business grew to corner over 90% of the companies world-wide using their machinery to enhance production.

They have turned their attention and those automation skills to 3D printing houses and a lot more. The creative expression this team has from their past as well as their comfort with big machines and working with big clients such as Boeing, Mitsubishi and General Electric truly makes them a force of change to an industry still finding its feet in inventiveness and in professionalism.

Since its start in 2018 TAM designs, manufactures, and installs its 3D concrete printers and also offers printing services worldwide. TAM printers are already well in use in Japan, USA, Canada, the Middle East, Europe and Australia. TAM does not only build printers, but they have revolutionized building techniques with the most advanced printing techniques in the industry and today TAM is one of the top 5 concrete printing manufacturers in the world.
